Meredith4Milton.com
The Client:
Meredith Hall – Member of the Planning Board for the Town of Milton, Massachusetts
The Live Site:

The Purpose:
A place for constituents to find out more about Meredith who was running for the planning board in Milton, Massachusetts. The site also needed to integrate with her email campaign software (MailerLite), use advanced forms to collect and sort the names of volunteers, collect donation funds, and provide information about town issues.
The look:
Meredith’s competitor already had a very professional site built by a web designer and she needed a site with a sleek, clean look to compete with his, but she also wanted her colors to be more distinct. Instead of going with the classic political colors of red, white and blue, we chose to focus on greens and blues to emphasize her work in preserving the environment and because her the town, Milton, is focused on sustainability and has a significant portion of the population with Irish heritage.
Special Features:
Meredith’s site integrates her advanced forms with her email campaign service MailerLite, effectively sorting all volunteer applicants into categories such as people who will be holding signs on election day, people who will be delivering signs to homes, people who want signs at their homes, people who are willing to write and send notes to their neighbors and so forth. It also has a newsletter opt-in on most pages, and keeps track of who her monetary supporters are.
The site is integrated with paypal to collect donations quickly and easily both via credit card and paypal
The site has beautiful smooth button animations to bring attention to the calls to action like donate and volunteer.
The site has a news and updates page that feeds in from separate posts and pages showing the latest news from Meredith’s campaign.
